A Queen Alexandria Birdwing, the largest butterfly in the world; native to and only found in the Oro Province of Eastern Papua New Guinea. It has an impressive wing pan of over 25 cm with iridescent blue and aqua wings, making it a stunning sight to behold.

The Rainbow Bee-Eater which can be found in Papua New Guinea between the months of March and May. As the name suggests, they love to feast on a variety of flying insects. In this acrylic painting, a colourful Bee-Eater perches amongst white hibiscus flowers.

The Papuan Dwarf Kingfisher native to Papua and Papua New Guinea. This tiny bird with eye-catching deep cobalt blue head and wings with pale orange belly, sitting amongst bright rhododendron flowers.
